Ajna Chakra Guided Meditation, History & Symbolism
Explore the history, symbolism and practical use of Ajna Chakra, then complete a guided 10-minute interactive meditation with breath, mantra and quiet observation.
Ajna Chakra Guided Meditation, History & Symbolism is a complete step-by-step course designed to help you understand the Third Eye tradition and experience it through structured practice.
This is not just a short meditation. The course takes you from the historical and symbolic foundations of Ajna Chakra through breath, mantra, attention training, preparation and finally a complete guided meditation experience.
You will begin by learning what Ajna represents, where the concept comes from and how the brow centre is understood within yogic and subtle-body traditions. You will explore the symbolism of the two-petalled lotus, the traditional sounds HAM and KSHAM, the wider significance of OM, and the relationship between Ajna and the familiar seven-chakra system.
The course then guides you through the practical foundations needed for meditation. You will learn about Ida, Pingala and the symbolic subtle-breath map, practise the breathing directions used in the course, understand how breath prepares attention for mantra, and learn how to use sound without forcing the voice or breath.
A major part of the course focuses on attention itself. You will learn what to do when the mind wanders, how to return without frustration, how listening can become part of meditation, and how to move gradually from sound into quiet observation. You will also learn why meditation does not require visions, unusual sensations or a perfectly empty mind.
Before the final practice, the course walks you through posture, space, breath, voice and practical readiness so you know exactly how to prepare for the session.
The final section brings everything together into a complete 10-minute interactive Ajna Chakra practice. The guided experience includes visual meditation cues, timed breathing stages, HAM, KSHAM and OM mantra practice, background music, spoken guidance, a live session timer and a final quiet-observation stage.
What you will learn:
• What Ajna Chakra means and how it is traditionally represented
• The role of Ajna within the chakra system

A Clear, Thoughtful and Beautifully Guided Ajna Chakra Course
I really enjoyed this course. It explains Ajna Chakra in a way that is clear, structured and easy to follow without making the subject feel overly complicated. I especially liked how the course combines history, symbolism, breathwork, mantra and meditation instead of focusing on just one part.
The lessons build on each other very well, and by the time you reach the final guided practice, everything makes much more sense. The 10-minute interactive meditation at the end was one of my favourite parts because it brings the breathing, HAM, KSHAM, OM and quiet observation together in a practical way.
I also appreciated that the course does not pressure you to have unusual experiences or sensations. It feels calm, thoughtful and suitable even if you are new to chakra meditation.
Overall, this is a very well-designed course for anyone interested in the Third Eye, meditation, mantra and deeper self-observation. Highly recommended.
